Shellfish. They’re catching.

Lady G has something called Molluscum Contagiosum, yet another in a long line of things I’d never heard of until I’d had a kid.  We initially thought it was a bad nappy rash as a result of teething but it’s not gotten better over the past 2 weeks and looks pretty heinous.  Basically it’s a viral infection which shows up in a little cluster of what looks like a cross between a wart and a blister and can take months (as in, like 9-18 months!) to clear up.

Luckily it’s hidden by her nappy and if we’re careful it doesn’t have a big chance of scarring, so it could be worse.  Poor little Bee.  She seems happy enough though, and is relishing the amount of pants off time she’s getting thanks to our beautiful warm weather at the moment.

Contagious mollusks. I picture little creepy clams attached to her butt.
