Good news comes in threes

May 2, 2011

Wildly different news of course, but we take what we can get!  Bin Laden is gone, Roo’s Mamma is coming for a visit and our beta results leave us with little doubt that Io is hopefully here for the long term.  HCG of 340 and progesterone of 91, which means I can stop with the Crinone once I’ve finished this box.  Repeat beta in a week, an ultrasound on the 26th and after that I will be done with the IVF routine and into the wonderfully normal world of a wonderfully normal pregnancy, fingers crossed.

Learning from last time, tomorrow I’m also going to call my Ob and make an appointment and get Io onto the childcare waiting list.  We are likely to go with a nanny when I return to work again, but always nice to have options.
